Designed by I.E. Lange. 1809. Title page includes table of contents "Register", contains 16 maps, map of China "Charte von China" not included in the contents. Maps are engraved and hand painted with outline color, showing political and administrative boundaries, major cities, towns, mountains, waterways, ports, etc., some maps include explanatory text, title cartouche and compass rose. Relief shown by hachures. Prime meridians are Ferro, Paris and Greenwich. Covers are gray marbled paper covered boards.
