Hellert, and accompanied by a historical, geographical and statistical commentary by G. Heck, and Leon Plee. Atlas consists of engraved title page, 2 folded tables, IV, 82 pages of descriptive text and 39 engraved maps, some folded, the first double page map is colored. Includes plans of Constantinople, Dardanelles, important cities of the Empire, and the memorable sieges and battles. Atlas bound in half leather and marble paper covered boards with title "Atlas l'Empire Ottoman" in gilt on spine.
