The plan shows the industry, agronomical development and transport of the region, its progress in the first 5 year plan as undertaken in Nizhniy Novgorod. The stats of the grows in this areas shown on the right. The categories include motor factories, radio factories, textile, glass, brick, match factories. The territory of the region at the time was much larger than the nowdays Nizhniy Novgorod area, it covered parts of nowdays Vladimir area as well as Mariy El, Kirov area and Udmurtiya. Together with the explanatory brochure under the same name. 24 p. 25x17,8 cm. Without the wrapper. Water stain. According to the brochure the map is the first public demonstration of the development of 5 year plan in the region. Interestingly the sizes of the investments are given, that indicated still rather liberal approach to the state planning, comparing with the secrecy of the 1930s." (Pavel Chepyzhov, 2019)
