A series of six adjacent sheets, each cut into panels and mounted on linen with space for folds. Relief shown with hachures. This map, produced during the Crimean War for use by the British army, is a re-edit of Franz von Weiss' map, "Carte der Europaeischen Turkey nebst einem Theile von Kleinasien", our List No. 12291.000. The quality of the lithographic transfer from the Weiss engraved map is not very good, indicating that it may have been prepared quickly for military purposes.
