This is an interesting variant on the 1848 Fremont Preuss Map of Oregon and Upper California (see our 1857.000), repurposed as a Gold Rush map. The California Gold Regions are colored yellowed and named, and a new inset map in the upper right shows the routes from New York to San Francisco.
