The first Swedish edition of the Stieler school atlas based on the first 1821 German edition. Reduced in scale, published in 1825 by Palmbald & Co. Many Swedish editions of the Stieler school atlas were published throughout the 19th. century. Atlas containing 24 maps including 4 supplemental maps of Europe, Asia and 2 new larger maps of Sweden and Finland, dated 1824-1826. Hand colored in outline in German and Swedish. Edited by Justus Perthes, engraved by Madel, Joh. Carl Ausfeld, L. Thiel, F. Stulpnagel. Showing political and administrative boundaries, major cities, towns, roads, canals, fortifications, rivers, forests and mountains. Relief shown by hachures. Bound in green paper covers with label pasted on the front cover, with title “Atlas ofver alla verldens delar : alla verldens delar enligt dess nuvarande tillstand. I 24 chartor”.
