General geographical school atlas of the world, in Ottoman script. No Cover and title page. Atlas consists of 23 different maps of the world countries, regions, and continents, with repeating examples bringing the total to 54 double page maps, for the geography courses in the state school during the late period of Sultan Abdul Hamid II. This work was made as an exercise book, in 54 double page black and white outline maps from the atlas “Mekatib-i rustiye-i askeriye ucuncu seneleri”, by Mehmed Remzi, published in 1905 for use in the state schools, with 23 chromolithographed color maps with geographical names. This version composed of black and white exercise maps, some repeating 2 or more times, with no printed geographical names, some hand colored, with handwritten out of sequence numeration on verso and manuscript annotation and geographical names on some maps in Ottoman script in pencil or ink, some with color annotations and sporadic scribbling. Includes maps of the world, Europe, Asia, Africa, America, and Australia.
