"A fascinating and detailed street map of Portland, Oregon showing the city as it was between 1927 and 1931, with radial distance from downtown marked from 1 to 8 miles. There is an extensive street index at left margin; several of the street names there have been crossed out, including Cambrinus Street. At lower right the map is identified as being compiled and drawn by H.L. Morian (Tabor 4808) and E.I. Hannaford (Sellwood 4362). The only library holding listed in WorldCat is the Huntington Library. The Swan Island airport, marked on the map, opened officially in 1927; in 1936 land was purchased to build a new Portland "Super Airport" (on the site of the present Portland International Airport), which is not on this map. The street names and numbers reflect the custom before the Council ordinance of 1931 establishing 100 numbers to the block and five geographic divisions. There are many golf clubs marked including the West Hills Golf Links and the Peninusla Golf Club." (Elisabeth Burdon, 2020)
